The connection between the main tank and the long range tank in my 1989 M20K is leaking. The leak seems to be at a screwed fitting directly at the outlet of the long range tank. We were able to retorque this fitting. This improved the situation, however the connection is still leaking a bit. According to Monroy, there should be no gaskets in the connection, just sealant. For me it is hard to believe, a screwed pipe fitting can be sealed just with sealant.
Does anybody have a drawing of the connection between main and long range tank for a M20K. I need it to understand the construction and eventually to order spare parts. I got a drawing for a M20M, which is totally different.
