Dear Members!
We have already received several ideas for shorter and/or longer trips for 2014.
In order to find enough participants I would like to give you an overview of the activities that have been mentioned to me.
- Werner Wohlfahrt wants to repeat the Leer / Spieker tour (East Frisia) since it was not possible for us to participate. I have visited the Spieker with him in the meantime (with our Mooney) and it is really a great place for a hearty dinner.
- Lothar Lucks wants to do something in Leipzig, possibly over the weekend. There are very historic restaurants and I hope he will come up with some official programming and a date soon.
- Philippe Coffinet has suggested to do a Fly-Out to his homebase in Vesoul (France) and I can only tell you that he is based at a great airfield and the town is very nice as well - don't forget French food.
- Maybe together with Fritz Kaiser we can organise a second "Royal Mooney Fly In" in Regensburg / Bavaria (which is NEAR Germany). I am born there and the UNESCO world heritage center makes a great visit. The airfield of EDNR is a bit challenging but aren't we "better than average" pilots?
Hope to hear your ideas. Best regards, David Kromka
